Custom Clay!

This is an opportunity for students (of any age) to design their own class to take with friends or family. I’m available to teach most days of the week (day and evenings) so we can find the time that works best for you. The cost is $230 per student for four 1.5hr class meetings and the minimum for a custom group class is 4 students and the max is 6.

Anything goes with this custom class — you can choose to concentrate on sculpture or pottery or both! We can explore a variety of construction methods (using clay slabs, coils and molds) and decorative techniques like carving, texture impressions, etching and slip and glaze painting. All projects will be fired to take home and use! All materials non-toxic and food-safe.

NOTE: I can do a class for 3 students, but the cost would increase to $280 ea, for 2 students see the “Finding Ones Way Clay” private lesson option. If you’d like to have just 2 or 3 classes, I can prorate the cost (3 classes for 4 students: $172.50 per student, 2 classes for 4: $115 per student) .
