Ceramics Exploration: Finding One's Way with Clay

In this beginning level class, students will learn how to create dinnerware such as teapots, cups, bowls and platters using drape molding, slab building, coil construction and a variety of other techniques. Students can also use these techniques to make sculptural forms, tiles and mosaics. All projects will be glazed and fired to take home and use. Materials are non-toxic and food-safe. Adults and mature teens.
