Ceramics Exploration: Finding One's Way with Clay

In this beginning level class, students will learn how to create functional ceramics (such as vases, cups, bowls, plates, jars) using slab building, coil construction and a variety of other techniques. Students can also use these techniques to make sculptural forms, tiles and mosaics. All projects will be glazed and fired to take home and use. Materials are non-toxic and food-safe.
